So we learned what they did when they came to pick it up. They put some of that oil additive that helps prevent oil leaks. They didn’t Lucas they used some off brand and this was the result. It was miracle magic or something. They have done all their oil changes every 5k with full synthetic. They have owned it from 12miles.

...Procedure to remove that funky control bridge, IP, A pillar moulding and also the glovebox. Turns out if you pop off the outside dash trim panel you can get a socket on the actuator and crank it down manually.

...Didn’t see him, only felt him. His tail flicked up as my forearm brushed against him.
...The little guy got pinned up against the drain pan and I didn’t feel like grabbing him with my nasty hands. Grabbed the first thing I could reach and just wanted to scoot him away but he got stuck instead. My boss got a real kick out of it.

From what I was told it was only strapped on with two straps, so when he tried to turn around to unload it just went. Not exactly sure as I didn’t see it first hand, but apparently it was the drivers first accident in 20 years.
...we are waiting on a GM rep to come and assess it. Unless the damage costs more than 50 percent of it’s value it won’t be totaled, so probably repaired and sold as new would be my guess.

I figured that rusty wheel was a spare, but holy hell they were driving on it!
My truck came with wheels with those chrome shells. I guess I should peel them off next time it needs tires and check under there.

Damn, I’ve got a 54 year old spare in my M alibu, but I don’t drive around on it.

Good ole GM making something electr ically actuated in the Corvette that really doesn’t need to be, again.

Exceptional across the board this week. UMM on fire looking for a quick blast of air in the tires was a high bar to maintain.

I do not for the life of me understand their obsession with those stupid as electric latches. It's like a 50's retro-futuristic idea.

That is the rustiest rim I ever seen! The water coming out the vents is funny. Even a Rolls Royce doesnt have a backseat waterfall feature :P
